How to Find me on the Web

Since trying out social media I have done a piss poor job of promoting myself or selling my books, ebooks or articles. I have been reluctant to sell anything for that matter as I feel that knowledge when gained should be public and free. Free from containment, free from control and free to allow creativity to foster and spill over to others willing to carry on the banner of freedom of speech and other rights.

You may find me a bore, or moreso a boring person that has repeatedly acted foolish and put things out there for others to read so they can see through the windows of my soul and heart's four chambers. the first heart chamber is the one for passion as I believe that passion is the energy that drives one to excellence and success.

The second chamber is the soul where you can reach my morals, principles and values whether traditional Christian beliefs or non-orthodox progressive thinking that is often criticised by others that refuse to open up their sould and reveal their true self much like the turtle's soft underbelly skin that is vulnerable when exposed and easy to kill.

The third chamber is my searchlight for the truth and how it impacts our willingness to live by the spirit of the law or the letter of the law. They are so very much different and we often neglect to see that in the heat of the moment when we break the law either willfully or by unintentional devices or actions.

The fourth chamber is the chamber of vision as I seek to see the light and travel through the darkness relying much on my eyes and the light but developing another sense much like those of the sonar capabilities of our little flying friends, the bat.

When you mut them all together you will find me on the web searching, browsing or learning about the heart, soul, truth and vision that will allow me to see and feel what humans are meant to experience living among the dead and those dying. It has been a great ride in my life as I have traveled the world, seen hope, fantasy and brillance come to life and make things better for our future generations and our kids as well as grandkids.,

So take a chance and visit me at all my blogs, my writings and my videos as I document my heart and soul about humanity in the words of my own expression and my own feelings

Links to follow are on the front page ~ I have added www.atcontent.com as an alternative to some of the writings on my blogs but you are always welcome to visit me anywhere you desire by using the google and find what interests you the most. It is likely I have covered many of the topics you may search for but if ever I haven't email me at toersbijnsc@yahoo.com and I will find one for you.. Its my word that I will do this

A small excerpt from the new ebook ~ Standing Rogue ~ Revealing the Underworld

Standing rogue is standing rogue with many people around the world and not just in Arizona. Paying close attention to the current events around you and seeing how governments have grown and invaded our personal space and privacy makes me wrestle with the notion that we are becoming a subject to a tyrannical organization one way or another. Losing our individuality and civil rights along the way is not acceptable and should be the order of the day to resist.

I rejoice when I hear the victories of good versus evil and cheer those that made it happen. I am pleased with the fact that we are still living under our Constitution but fear it may diminish in impact and influence by the way government finds ways to circumvent their meanings and intent.

I fear tampering with our Bill of Rights and the First and Second Amendments as they do so much to protect us from evil.  I fear the erosion of our Fourth Amendment to reasonable searches and our Fifth where we must self-incriminate ourselves in the next order of rule of law.

After the shooting of the Newtown Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut there  is much talk about stripping away our guns for the sake of public safety when in fact, the opposite would be true if only criminals carry guns and innocents are left behind to fend for themselves and wait for a police officer to respond to their needs when in fact we know that today, in our society, we can have a pizza delivered in less time than it takes a police officer to come to our aid and protect us from harm.

I fear that ordinary people like you and me are under the influences of evil doers that don’t hesitate to treat and subject vulnerable people to inhumane and violations of our morality and humanity. Torturing people is unacceptable and must be erased from our vocabulary and our underworld practices as well as our social means to end most suffering and treat each other with fairness and kindness every day.

As American we are envisioned to be more humane, more charitable and more compassion that any other country in the world. We must maintain that position and not give into evil.

I am pleased to see the military change their stand on homosexuality and discrimination towards those that have the courage and pride to fight for our country no matter what their sexual orientation is or was. We all knew this kind of behavior in the past was wrong, unjust and illegal from the start and contrary to our values of a free and democratic country.

I am displeased with the immunity and failure for government officials, elected and non-elected individuals to not be punished for failing to obey the fundamental rule of law and the common golden rule of decency towards all. I am stunned at the way operatives serving against our constitution and country’s laws are receiving immunity to proceed with their illegal ways and not investigated or punished for their secret ordering of advising or engaging in conduct such as the Fast and Furious weapons scandal or the manner Jesus Diaz was treated as a pawn for our government’s relationship with Mexico.

I find that LEOAC president Andy Ramirez has been a staunch opponent of this type of injustice and has repeatedly told the truth about government corruption in high places and noting that our border wars are failing both our expectations and the rule of law in this land. I am saddened by the death of border agents dying in the line of duty due to carelessness of our government taking the lives of heroes such as Brian Terry and the manner the agency carries their rule of engagement that gives the outlaws the benefit of doubt in any armed confrontation.

I find the attitude of Eric Holder as our Attorney General appalling and will never accept the justification for his continued disservice to this country while performing conduct that is wrong, unjust, illegal, contrary to our values and therefore inexcusable.

I likewise find the attitude of Governor Brewer and her Chief of Staff a violation of the rule of decency and rule of law related to the detainment of the mentally ill prisoners in the state as failing to obey these fundamental rules of protecting humanity from suffering and extreme harm.

Most of all, I cannot see why the missions of those non-elected officials are not being overseen or regulated by those in control and power to do so without infringing on our civil rights or political aspirations to be elected or re-elected in the near future.

Governor Brewer should and must conduct her own independent investigation of the underworld as it has been revealed and determine is these individuals violated laws intended to protect vulnerable people for this Hell-hole treatment today.

It must be re-iterated that moral leadership must hold those violators morally accountable and responsible for intentional misconduct, including misconduct perpetrated under the pretext of following orders.

Getting back to basic includes looking at those laws that prohibit inhumanity and torture, whether physical or mentally. If Governor Brewer believes that these violators are not wrong in carrying out their injustices then she must face the fact that she is having her own conflict with the rule of decency and the laws that deplore and detest the use of torture and reject inhumanity. This by itself must be resolved at the polling sites where the electorate can be a voice for humanity.

Is it not otherwise a moral right for the state’s chief executive officer to say that we deplore and reject inhumanity and torture?

Not wishing scandals or other embarrassing moments in her term of control she must not hinder or reject proposals for investigating her nominated and approved director of the prison agency immediately and glean what his respective role is or was to the demise of humanity inside prisons.

If anything Brewer should make an official statement that her expectations of the rule of decency applies to all, free and incarcerated and must carry with it sanctions that are appropriate by law and moral codes established to protect mankind.

If anything, the investigations conducted by an independent non-political source should make official statements about no person being above the law—or beyond the law—credible.

"We grope like the blind along a wall, groping like those who have no eyes; we stumble at noon as in the twilight, among the vigorous as though we were dead. We all growl like bears; like doves we moan mournfully. We wait for justice, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far from us." (Isaiah 59:10-11)

Make Bullying your Priority for 2013

Bullying and Suicides ~ the Relationship

By Carl R. ToersBijns

Never before has the act of bullying reach such catastrophic proportions in our country today. More kids are dying needlessly after being subjected by bullying from their friends, classmates or even their own family members. Time after time, their deaths are directly related to being bullying in a society that is so unforgiving and so judgmental that puts too much pressure on kids growing up today creating mass confusion and deep pains too much to handle at such a young age.

Kids today are being bullied in various ways and often without the knowledge of their parents. They are bullied while in school, at play or at work with many not being aware of the serious consequences of such behaviors imposed. There are more and more cases where bullying and suicides are more than implied connections and the truth reveals there is a cultural awareness as well as denial that bullying our kids may leads to death.

Two main factors have been identified as contributing causes in young aged suicides. Mental health providers have maintained that although the reasons for suicides may not be bullying by itself, they have said that the emotional instabilities and impacts of depression and severe anxiety are key elements of suicidal ideations and acts. This is in addition to any mental health disorder this young person might have had at the time of their death.

Is this to simple to understand? Are there answers for such misconduct and consequences? As parents or family members we must bend backwards and shout out loudly our concerned and awareness of this symptom that is killing our kids today. What is most fearful of our society today is the perception that suicides are a normal societal value thus not warranting any extra prevention or cautionary methods to intervene with such deaths.

Merely shrugging it off as an explainable phenomenon, society has robbed our children of help and prevention resources readily available upon request. Suicides are more complicated and often misunderstood by those that ask the most common question “why” and leave it at that. There is no simplicity to suicides as there are no simple answers why bullying contributes to so many deaths in our society today.

The reader will quite often rationalize the answer by simply stating the most obvious answer which is bullying finds victims and victims kill themselves when the pressure exceeds their ability to cope and function with the behavior. Cruel intentions have become a way of our societal behaviors that are accepted by many as normal.

Looking at the vulnerability factors we can glean several attitudes or deeds that come into play of such actions. Many kids are involved in sports, arts or other events that brings with it pressure to exceed and compete with others for either special honors or recognition or self-satisfaction.

Thus how this competitiveness of winning or losing impacts our kids is important. We all know that bullying or daring someone to exceed or perform the extreme of such activities can be harmful and dangerous in many different ways especially if such an activity is acerbated by an existing mental health condition.

Competition and daring someone to do something of the extreme is a challenge to that person’s strengths and weakness. This could in fact be a case where their strength may actually bring out their weaknesses as they are ill prepared or not conditioned to make such an extreme attempt to overcome the dare or challenge. It is the failure of such events that may lead to personal dissatisfaction, humiliation, guilt, or disrespect that triggers the depression and anxiety in their minds.

The aggravation of depression or anxiety increases suicide risks in young people. It should not be ignored or marginalized as it it’s a common thread between suicide and death.  Without warning, this aggravation of negative thoughts can and do lead to painful feelings that are very hard to cope with especially for a child or young adolescent.

Therefore because aggravated conditions of physical and emotional conflict or failures are seen to be normal, there are no triggers that would indicate there is a relationship between these events and suicides thereafter. Society forgets that children and young adolescents are experiencing many different emotions when going through hormonal changes and fail to address this in a timely manner so the can intervene, seek support or control the deadly effects of such an epidemic that exists in our society today.

Society, schools and families are not treating bullying as a disease or symptom of death. They have accepted the norm and never once considered it to be a factor of a public health or mental health concerns and in dire need of delicate solutions to reduce suicidal behaviors.

The number of kids committing suicides keeps rising and there appears to be no end to this epidemic until the dynamics of bullying and its impacts are accepted as abnormal characteristics of our society and dealt with in an effective prevention methods and efforts.

It is the responsibility of our generation and those following us to keep working on this most important condition that is destroying our youth today without remorseful feelings.

Make bullying a priority in 2013 to save our kids.

Making our Schools safe again ~

Making our Schools Safe Again

By Carl R. ToersBijns

There is an inherent desire to make our kids safe again in their schools. We have to look closely at what we need to do to return the normalcy that existed before the mass shootings that have spread across this nation puts a grip of fear into all of us creating havoc and poor plans to prevent this from happening again anywhere USA.

First we know this to be a severe condition aka lack of school security for the protection of our kids; something that won’t disappear or go away for quite some time.

Second we must identify all the symptoms related to the condition at hand and start a cycle of action and proactive planning to foster positive things back into our schools e.g. regenerating trust and calmness back into our schools.

Thirdly we must all work together to eliminate waste of resources and time and prioritize the energy and resources so that it will heal the not only the quickest but also the best way in the long run.

Fourth we must allow a “natural” condition to re-develop and aid in reformed thinking and emotions so we can unlock the anger, the sorrow and the pain that is present today.

For many parents and children the pain and sorrow may never go away but we must be reminded that the pain and sorrow is often more intense during the healing process than of the condition at hand.

We must avoid shutting down our common sense and our senses that control us physically, mentally and spiritually to maintain progress fighting this condition.

There needs to be a method developed to infuse beneficial and productive resources to allow the healing process to accelerate and at the same time reduce the side effects of the emotion and mental anguish we are all experiencing. There is no magic pill or solution to this matter.

With each infusion of positive and proactive achievement, we will improve the condition but it takes time and more resources to heal it completely. Removing or stopping these infusions of vital resources will allow the condition to reappear and become chronically worst.

This can’t be a temporary fix or act but rather a long range planned method of keeping the condition from redeveloping somewhere else or stagnates into another crisis.

We must endure conflict, controversy, and other crisis before the system can become balanced and safe again.

We must work with the expectation of teamwork and focus on defeating this condition to the point it won’t or can’t reappear and cause the pain and sorrow all over again.

Symptoms found in a preliminary finding are:

  • a neglected school system and lack of government activity or support to maintain them at the highest efficiency levels possible to enhance learning and protect kids
  • political apathy for the school system before mass shooting occurred.
  • lack of adequate resource officers inside schools due to funding or other political decisions to cut funding
  • lack of adequate physical plant precautions to avoid forced entry into school grounds
  • too many gaps and loopholes in the firearms background checks in the state
  • too many gaps between court reported mental illness on docket not reported to NCIS thus allowing firearms in the possession of those not eligible by federal law to possess them because of mental illness related illness that disqualifies them as gun buyers
  • lack of communication between mental health providers and law enforcement
  • lack of treatment alternatives for those with learning disabilities and illnesses throwing them into the criminal justice system without treatment or programs
I am sure there are more symptoms as there is no cure-all solution. This condition will have to heal under strict observation and management of professionals not politicians trained and skilled in the art of reviving poorly maintained security in such places as our schools and do so with the utmost cooperation of those in charge of public safety as well as providing adequate funding for public safety.

Email Privacy - the truth revealed

Email Privacy ~ Revealing the Truth

By Carl R ToersBijns

There is a misconception among email users that their email boxes are entitled to some kind of privacy protection that enables them to hide what is contained within their text and those email address used via the internet. What is alarming is the fact that hardly anybody realizes how easy it is to disclose and reveal what was once considered a confidential method of communicating and secure writings.

The most startling revelation is the ease of getting this information without a search warrant. Private emails are not as secure as we once thought they were and the method for accessing such information has become most simple since Congress passed a specific act way back in 1986, which makes this possible. E-mail "stored" for 180 days does not receive the same protection as E-mail in "process" less than 180 days.

It basically allows warrantless invasion of privacy actions if the text, email or electronic message is over 180 days old and no longer under the protection of search and seizure laws. Without taking into consideration the mass use and volume of internet traffic, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986 allows access to online chatting and other communications.

Just last month, on November 29, 2012, the Senate Judiciary Committee met and considered legislation to update the Act which would require police to get a warrant to read emails or other electronic communiqués. The current status of the Act only requires the showing of a § 2703 order that is specific and articulated facts relevant to an ongoing investigation.  This order can give a wealth of details about computing service usage. § 2703 (c)(1)(A)-(B) gives the contents of any relevant logs, all basic subscriber information (see below), cell site data for calls made, destinations of outgoing E-mail, and any other non-content records.
The burden for a subpoena[1] is a good sharp crayon. Electronic Communications Privacy Act “ECPA” as amended by USA PATRIOT § 210 (see 18 U.S.C. §§ 2701-11 for the bulk) yields Basic Subscriber Information which is defined as: name, address, local and long distance telephone toll billing records, telephone number or other subscriber number or identity, and length of service and types of service used by the customer, subscriber number (e.g. Internet address or telephone number)or identity (including any temporarily assigned network addresses), and means and source of payment for such service (including credit card or bank account number). It is all right there in Title 18.
As a bonus, the USA Patriot Act (sect 212 and 505) and Child Protection and Sexual Predator Punishment Act of 1998, 42 U.S.C. § 13032 also effect ECPA

Tackling your Dream - New Year Resolutions

Tackling your Dream
By Carl ToersBijns

The New Year is quickly approaching and we are all prepared to make some New Year resolutions. It is likely that some of these resolutions are part of your dream in life or the basis for making your dream come true. Either way, you are about to go on a journey that will hopefully fulfill your destiny.

We all dream of doing something special in our lives. We all dream of doing something that is satisfying someday. It may be a career change, raising a family, starting a business or become an artist in the music business or making a lot of money. Either way, you need to find a way to make your dream come true.

The world is made up of winners and losers. Not necessarily a nice way of putting it, the reality is that no matter what your dream is or was, there are some things thrown on those hard traveled tracks of this journey that makes it more difficult than once anticipated. Living a dream can be interrupted suddenly by something called fear. You shouldn’t be surprised or stunned this happens.

Fear is the number one reasons for not accomplishing your goals or dreams. It can happen to anybody and there are certain things you need to remember when encountered by fear.

First you have to be real. You must make a self-assessment of your skills, knowledge, abilities and experience as well as possessing the talent for acquiring such a dream.  The main thing to remember is that when you are pursuing a dream there will be a significant change in your life.

This change can spring many fears, challenges and insecurities at you as it will come from all directions that include where you live, how much money you have to support your dream and drumming up the intestinal fortitude to stay on this journey to capture your dream.

Most of all, you will be faced with the fear of failure. Change means leaving your comfort zone. It means taking different risks and making decisions never made before.  One may have to endure a change in the environment and endure misery before reaching your utopia.  You must learn to tolerate and overcome things that are strange and terrifying.  You must learn how to face and handle those risks that come with the territory of being successful.

We have come to appreciate that change is one of the most terrifying things we face in life. Our latent fears and insecurities spring out at us from all directions. After all, change threatens our comfortable worlds. It doesn't matter that our comfortable worlds might be miserable places. Misery we know! Misery we can tolerate! But change is strange and terrifying.

Whenever you are faced with the fear of failure or any other fear, don’t make excuses. Rely on your common sense that got as far as you are and rationalize the problem. This is where you go back to your self assessment and must decide if you have an adequate amount of money or levels of education, skill or experience to pursue your goals and happiness. Make adjustments to meet your shortage and focus on the positive things that this effort will bring you.

You must not squander time or money during these evaluation periods. You must make decisive decisions with or without help from others. Regardless, you must face the fear and march on. This is where you have winners and losers come or overcome and meet these challenges before you. Don’t let your fears shut you down.

Wading through the deep waters of fear and adversity is part of the challenges of success. Success will demand you to do or perform extraordinary things in your life. It is what makes you a great person rather than the normal status quo you are trying to leave behind. How you respond will make you either a winner or a loser.

Perseverance is a great quality to attain when pursuing your dream. Never give up even when the pain is so bad and you are terrified at the moment or the day after. If you focus on your dream you will never turn away and run away from it.

Be prepared for failure, humiliation, embarrassment and anxiety attacks. These all come with the challenge of attaining your dream. Don’t underestimate your own abilities when faced with the challenge of self expression, public speaking, organizing your thoughts and putting a plan together. Even though you may have “never” done such a task before, you will overcome your fear of failure if you have faith in all you do and prepare yourself adequately to get the job done.

Learn to identify your disabilities and accomplishments. It was said by Eleanor Roosevelt, a woman who was well versed with fear in her life that “you gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.”

You must learn to attempt those things we think we cannot do and tolerate the fact that if it means going through life without knowing success, you merely exist and lose that dream. If we fail to attempt the thing we think we cannot do, it can mean the death of our hopes, dreams and our spirit. It could mean going through life merely tolerating our existence. It can mean dying without having risked or felt the sting of failure--or savored the joy of success.

When we face those things we thought we couldn’t do we become stronger and smarter in life. We gain heart and desires and leave behind cowardice and being scared. We have the appreciation of life and knowing that overcoming all these challenges as well as the fear was quite a feat and undertaking.

It underscores the importance of the journey and the discovery of new found strengths and wisdom that has been inside of you since the beginning and now moving you right along to live your dream. It became your own recipe for success and you now know that taking all those risks has paid off for you in many different ways.
