We were there once, we learned from the old soldier who fought for the red white and blue. They taught us respect, honor and faith in our cause. They taught us to stand up for the rights of others. They taught us that dying is worth the sacrifice to be free men.
We were young and loyal, we were proud and respectful and we were strong. Who we were back then and who we are now is who we have become. We cannot change who we have become as it was God's will that we are who we say we are but our legacy will follow. Yet, sadly, our eyes sheds a tear for what we have become.
I believe that time has been unkind to many of us for we are no longer
the same breed we once were and i am certain, it will never be that way
again unless we regain the respect, honor and faith in our cause.
For America to be strong again, we have to replant our roots, our allegiance and our love, faith, and honor to God, duty, country, family and each other. That's how I see it from where I am standing.
Just saying how it used to be and likely never will be again. If you are one of us -then you know what I am talking about. Let others ponder what this means as your soul stirs inside you, for only you know these words are the truth and that this truth lies deep inside your heart.
